About Shadow Boxes: Our shadow boxes are custom made so that we can provide extra depth to display your beautiful florals as close to their original size/height as possible. It also lets us add all the little detail flowers and greens at different depths creating a wonderful piece of art.

Lyn at Airloom framing custom makes the frames from scratch and can provide a wide variety of finishes and sizes. Our most common finishes are stains (light, med, dark) and painted (white, black, distressed white and barnwood). We can also do a custom painted color or stain for an extra charge.

Our most common sizes for shadow boxes are 18×20/22 inches and 20×22/24 inches. Larger bouquets may require 22/24 x 26 inches.

About Pressed Frames: Regular pressed frames for our couples are also custom made by Lyn. Her frames and methods of sealing the frames helps to keep out moisture and are made from quality wood which will last a lifetime.

Our colors and stains that we have on hand to choose from are the same as what is listed for the shadow boxes, and as well, we can provide a custom color not listed, for an extra charge.

Pressed frames can either be double glass (glass in front and back) or with a backing of fabric or matboard (colored background). The colored background designs are a little less time consuming and cost a little less, so there is a 10% discount if you order one instead of the double glass. This design is also preferable when we are shipping your completed frame back to you.

I can also special order beautiful oval frames. These are professionally made and may be double glass, regular glass with fabric backing, or convex glass with fabric backing

Our most common sizes for pressed frames are:
11×14 (if you are looking for something small)
16 or 18 x 20 inches and
18 or 20 x 24 inches.

Special Frames: Inquire with us about special vintage frames which we may have acquired and refinished.

Gifts for mothers, grandmothers and bridesmaids: Bring extra flowers from centerpieces or bridesmaid bouquets and we can create gifts for those special people in your wedding. I offer small pressed frames and a selection of jewellery made with pieces of your bouquet or extra flowers.
